It was clear from our stakeholder engagement work over the past two years that our economic performance is of great interest to our employees, board and staff leadership, vendors, distributors, and other customers. Strong economic performance is critical to achieving our overall business goals, and it drives innovation and Hunter’s commitment to social and environmental values.
Because of our profit sharing plan, Hunter’s economic performance is of particular interest to our employees. To that end, in 2015, Hunter’s CFO began working with departmental leaders to provide more information and training on the company’s quarterly financial performance. Financial information is also shared more broadly through internal company portals, and quarterly all hands meetings.
